Hansen Place

The city of Enumclaw is located in south-central King County, Washington. It is unique in the fact that it is landlocked in a pastoral setting between plateau farmlands and the gorgeous Cascade Mountains. If you are looking for a small town feel, Enumclaw encompasses approximately 5 square miles. It's well-kept beautiful homes contribute to the community being one of the most attractive in King County. It was also rated as the 3rd safest city in Washington in 2015. It is easily accessed from Seattle, Tacoma and Eastside communities via HWY 410, 164, & 169. Enumclaw is the gateway to both north entrances to Mt. Rainier National Park from Highway 410, and you can reach Paradise near Mt. Rainier through beautiful Steven's Canyon during the summer.

Named the "Gateway to Mount Rainier" and is the closest city to Washington State's premier ski area, Crystal Mountain. It is also the start of the Chinook Scenic Byway. Enumclaw provides Summer and Fall access to Yakima, Washington's wine country, via the Chinook Pass. There are 3 beautiful state parks (Nolte, Flaming Geyser, Kanaskat Palmer) within 15 minutes as well as the Federation Forest. The plateau farmlands are home to many horse and cattle. Enumclaw has the most dairy farms in production within the King and Pierce County region.

Most folks equate Enumclaw with a high-quality of life, beautiful scenic views of Mount Rainier, and as being home of the fair to see since 1863!
